Entering Deaf's Got Talent

Please review the information below before entering.
Rules
- You must be deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or deaf disabled to enter.
- If entering as a group, all members must be deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or deaf disabled.
- You must submit a video of your talent in each round.
- Judges will judge you based on your talent. Please do not include any unnecessary elements in the video unless part of your performance. You will not be judged on your camera, lighting, or studio quality, unless your talent is video editing.
- Videos must be uploaded to an online hosting platform (ex: YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc).
- For the first round, the video must be no longer than 1 minute. Videos in future rounds will have more time.
- Your performance must take into account that the judges and audience are primarily deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deaf disabled.
- If talent is sound-based, visual elements must be included, such as captions or interpretation.
- Your performance must be family-friendly and may not contain discriminating or inappropriate content.
- The definition of family-friendly includes, but is not limited to: no nudity, foul language, or sexually-explicit content.
- The definition of distasteful and discriminating content includes, but is not limited to: content displaying clear prejudice towards age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, race, color, sex, gender, parental status, pregnancy status, language, or socio-economic status.
- Videos must be original content.
